Bryant has to go to his sister's wedding, where his ex will be with the boyfriend that he cheated on Bryant with. Bryant is dreading the wedding, and his friend Hayley was going to be his date, until Hayley decided that her friend Max would be a much better date. It's hard to imagine a wedding weekend being a great first date, but Bryant and Max were a great couple. I enjoyed seeing them get to know each other. I enjoyed this story quite a bit.

Gio and Derek were high school sweethearts who got separated when Derek left right after high school. They had a reunion when Derek was coming back for closure, not expecting Gio to be single still. Gio was rightfully angry at the lack of contact and no explanation, and Derek did his best to give him answers. Of course, lack of communication gets in the way. I didn't love this story, but it wasn't awful. I was glad they were able to be happy together, but it seemed to rush quite a bit through the end.

Naturally, there were parts I loved, and parts I hated. I liked seeing Ashton and Jamie come together, but a lot of it made me say HUH? Ashton comes across as not the nicest guy and Jamie is super mad at him, yet Jamie is all over him the first chance he gets. I couldn't quite reconcile the rapidity of Jamie's feelings from mad to frustrated to lovesick. To each his own, I suppose. The story was interesting, though. Forgiving the quick to love part, I enjoyed reading this story. ( )
