I am a longtime fan of author Liz Fielding, and I was delighted by the characterizations in “Her Pregnancy Bombshell”, Book One in the “Summer at Villa Rosa” series. Pretty young pilot Miranda Marlowe has always been in love with her handsome boss, Cleve Finch. However, Cleve seems to be unable to recover from his grief over the loss of his wife. Emotion and circumstance bring Miranda and Cleve together for one evening of healing and pleasure, but in the aftermath, Miranda is uncertain what the future will bring, and eventually she heads for the Mediterranean villa recently inherited by her sister. Miranda is soon followed by Cleve, and when he learns that their night of passion has resulted in a pregnancy, he is determined to make Miranda his wife and raise their child together. Both of them have some preconceived notions about the other that they need to resolve, and then there are family business secrets waiting to come out in the open. When all that was hidden in the past is finally revealed, will Cleve convince Miranda that they can find happiness together with their child? The setting is ideal, the characters are very appealing, and Liz Fielding has infused wonderful romantic touches throughout the story.
