This is a good length, features great illustrations, and includes quite a wide variety of birds. ( )

Ok, maybe only 4.5 stars - it would have been even more interesting with range maps or other notes, and/or with birds around the world instead of only the 'lower 48' US. Still, I'm seriously considering gifting it to my parents (avid birders) so they can share it with my niece and nephew. ( )

The book describes different bird songs. Each bird is shown with children in a particular region. The book begins in the morning and ends with children going to bed.

This book takes the reader through all parts of the world talking about birds. Different people are around different birds and they all say and do different things. There are a lot of different characters in this book from around the world. This would be a good book to start a bird unit with.

This book is a great one to read when talking about different types of birds and where they can be found all over the world. It takes you to many places around the globe and has different little scenarios that the birds do in the different places and the sounds they make. The illustrations are beautiful and I feel like children will really enjoy reading this.
