This is a favorite book of Mx and Ms, to a lesser extent. A story about an elephant trying to be the Easter bunny and how being yourself is where your true power is.

I really enjoyed reading this book, I think it is very interactive with the students. I used this book as a book share and my first grade students loved it. This book is about an Easter bunny that gets stuck in a log and is trying to get out but can't. An elephant comes and helps save the day and delivers the Easter eggs in order to save Easter. I asked the students what they thought was going to happen and then had them tell me what ended up happening at the end. I tied an activity with this book, which was, putting words from the book in alphabetical order. I also had a word search for the students as well. Lastly, I had a writing prompt for the students, "If I were a bunny..." The students really enjoyed the three different activities. ( )
