At best, it's efficient and clear, but that's not always the case, and even then it does not look good at all. The main artist's work is flat, anonymous and frankly reminding me of the look of small, self-published webcomics more than anything else, and when there is a brief intermission with a different artist, it looks as though they just discovered perspective and are more interested in playing with that (with varying success) than in telling the story. I'm not very picky about comic artwork, but this was definitely not my thing. So I suppose it's a credit to Soule that I still got quite a lot out of this. I particularly thought Captain America's court case was rather great, and the Kristoff Vernard story -- while a bit silly -- worked very well, too. I enjoyed the end twist of the "blue file" case that was lurking in the background throughout the run, though as usual it was hindered by the artwork. While it was shallow as stories go, I also enjoyed the insane Deadpool appearance in the first of two bonus comics included in the collection, though I found the final bonus story -- a Christmas special -- to be corny and after school special-y, even by Christmas story standards. But the main story was as mentioned pretty great, and I like that they included these for completism even if they were a bit on the gimmicky side.
