Ling leaves the boat after being accused of being disrespectful to one of the twin sisters she and Conner are protecting, leaving Conner as the sold bodyguard for both Emily and Chloe. The real action begins when Conner and the crew fend off an attack by Somali pirates, but are lured into their trap when they go to help a Dutch ship sending out a distress call. Now Conner must come up with a way to save the twins and their future stepmother before one of them gets killed.

The action is fast and furious in this continuation of the story that begins in Hijack. Even though Conner still doubts his abilities as a member of Guardian, he knows if he doesn't try, he will fail. The short chapters and action packed story make this another quick read in the Bodyguard series. ( )
