This book was animated book that described different sea creatures in a poetic fashion. On each page the characters would pop out of the book. the illustrations were amazing with vibrant colors. the silly shark seemed to be the students favorite when he poped out of the book.
my personal reaction to this book is very good, due to the fact that is the first book that my 11 month old actually sat in my lap and listened to. i can also relate to this book in a way because we have a salt water tank at our house and it is our favorite hobby.
for a my first classroom extension i would like to have the students make there own pop up books with some of their favorite animals. another idea would be to have the children paint with the bright colors in this book. ( )
