'A sweeping novel you won't put down' Katie FffordeThe new novel by Sunday Times bestseller Harriet Evans will enchant her fans with this unputdownable and heart-breaking tale of a family ripped apart and the extraordinary house they called home. Harriet writes the most delicious, epic stories from the heart since Maeve Binchy and Kate Morton.Nightingale House, 1919. Saw the twist at the end coming but that's because I like to theorize and not because it was glaringly obvious. Still enjoyed it though it had a slow start!! ( )

I was looking forward to reading this book and ended up being incredibly disappointed
The plot was just not credible in many places. It was also very long winded at times, I had to keep making myself read on.
I know I am in the minority and I usually love this type/ style of book so all in all a big let down ( )
