Um, I hated this book. I just didn't get it! It was so dumb. I mean, bananas played a huge part but that is all I got

However, I think it is excellent for beginnings readers. Very few words and there are many sight words. So for that reason, I would direct people to it ( )

A boy with a remote-controlled robot exclaims, "I have a bot!" But soon it gets away from him, floating up in front of a tall apartment building (the tall, narrow trim size makes sense here). Helpers within the building try various strategies to capture and return the bot: what ultimately works is trying to lure it with a bunch of bananas, which instead attracts a giant gorilla (? - the creature is only shown from the middle down), which catches the bot, which is returned to the boy....but then a little girl loses her balloon. ( )

Easy to read, great pictures, FUN story! ( )
