I really enjoyed it, right up until the ending. This volume even tied up the endings of all the little side 'ships as well. *sigh* However, I am left to wonder how much of the backstory here influences the events in the currently progressing Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles? After reading these last two volumes and with what is going on there it seems to me like there might be more of a connection than having just lifted the characters from one series and transplating them into another. Sakura was an average 4th-grader until the day she found the Clow, an enchanted book of magical Clow Cards. But the cards were missing! Kerberos, the Creature of the Seal, emerged from the cover to warn that if the cards were not returned, they would come to life and do evil. Kerberos made Sakura a Cardcaptor, and their magical hunt for the cards began. The Cardcaptor manage spawned the hit anime and TV series shown on the Kids' WB! network and Cartoon Network. Nothing magical really happens in this final volume of the series, so it's a bit disappointing, but I guess that they needed the space to clear up all the love triangles that were going on. Toya and Yukito are together, Eriol goes off with Miss Mizuki, and Sakura and Sayoran finally confess their love for each other. Maybe it's just me being cynical, but pairing up characters who are in elementary school is a bit premature... ( )
