Kid’s pick the funniest poems is a book about poems that is selected by kids. This is the first collection of poems that kids select. This book has popular authors that included Bill Doods, Timothy Tocher, Joyce Armor, Robert Pottle, Bruce Lansky and Kenn Nesbitt. This book is illustrated by Stephen Carpenter who seems to perfectly tell each poem like a story.
Personal Reaction
This book is cleverly funny and has great poems from some amazing authors. Again I love any books with poems and believe poetry is the best form of writing. I love to create poems and illustrate them as well. I know that my kid will have fun reading this book.

• I will ask my class to create their own funny creation and draw a illustration for the poem.
• I will ask my class what poem they loved the most and why they chose that poem.
