How does a person know how you feel about something if you don't tell the truth? That is the message this book seeks to convey using hamsters. No joke. And you know what, it works. Introvert and extrovert is the example but I think so many things work. If you want change, if something bothers you, SPEAK UP Zeige 2 von 2 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

We're roommates.
We've been roommates for two hundred and five days."
If this phrasing isn't enough to tip readers off about Henry's attitude toward Marvin, Henry's expression - eyebrows low and flat, glaring sideways at Marvin gleefully running on the wheel, tongue hanging out - will do the trick. And on day 206, Henry snaps, shouting at oblivious, enthusiastic, talkative Marvin to "LEAVE ME ALONE!" Marvin does, leaving Henry with the quiet he so desired all along...but he realizes that he owes Marvin an apology and an explanation. Henry's apology is simple and heartfelt, and the two hammer out a new agreement/compromise that works for them both, so that day 207 "feels like our Day One."
A lovely story with a light touch, showing how friends with different preferences can communicate to strengthen their relationship. ( )
