It might be hard to do at story time, but it could be fun in a class room setting where they are studying words. U needs some time off from Q, so they take a break. But it causes other letters to break up as well. The author did a great job with all the puns and word play, I just wish they could have found a way to use Q words without the U. They do exist. It would have been a great way to introduce them. ( ) U is tired of being the only friend Q has, so she decides to take off for some alone time. The other letters notice and decide they want alone time too. But with all the letters doing their own thing, there's Corn but no CHeese, and S is Singing so loudly that L and P stay away which makes no PLay or SLeep. Q and U reunite to QUiet the chaos, "and after that day, the letters stuck together because they knew life wasn't QUite the same if they didn't." More than an alphabet book, this nicely covers the themes of friendship and self-care. Zeige 3 von 3 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

"What happens when best friends Q and U quarrel? It's a real quandary, since they have always been quality friends--a true squad. But sometimes, U wants some time to herself--even though Q is lonely because he doesn't always fit in with the other letters without her. When the rest of the alphabet notices the split, they decide they want to do the same. And utter chaos ensues! Can Q and U come together to quell the mayhem and help the letters repair their friendships?"--Provided by publisher. Keine Bibliotheksbeschreibungen gefunden. |
