As much as this volume has action, it still felt like a filler storyline and like we were waiting for the actual story to get underway... That being said, it feels like the overall story is lengthening the arcs in preparation for the eventual conclusion (still more than 10 books away though it is), as happened with Xxxholic. Two major occurances did happen though - we found out more about Fai's magic and a "dark" Sayoran is introduced. I'm sure both are keys to the eventual conclusion, but I'm not sure wwat's going to happen so I shall refrain from speculating! ( )

Excellent turn of events. Suspense builds as things just keep going wrong. The stakes are raised drastically and it encourages the involvement of the reader. ( )

The group battles the remnants of humanity, Fei-Wang is involved, Lee's twin is involved, only we find out the Lee who has been part of the group is a clone and the original has made sacrifices to Yuko the time witch for some reason. My Thoughts This was a confusing storyline. We had the world specific, Feather recovery story. We had the overarching story that deals with the evil Wei-Fang, Yuko and the group overall. We have revelations abounding about individuals. And then we get a new sidestory about some of the side characters. It was just so busy! Art wise, I slowed my reading to actually Look.
