This manuscript is a biographical sketch and chronological listing of the career accomplishments of Johnny Depp. If you need to check the year of a movie that Mr. Depp appeared in, you will find that here. The work would benefit from the use of a spellchecker and visit from the grammar police. ( )

The author has clearly gathered his information from public sources.
Johnny’s early life until he leaves home to go to Los Angeles with his band takes three paragraphs in this book. The rest of the book simply lists, his love interests (very brief, a few lines each), TV roles and guest appearances, movies roles and the actors who appeared with him, and the box office receipts, a list of future film productions and finally a list other biography’s by the author.
Several sentences and the odd word here and there make me think English is the author’s second language.
It is not a biography I could recommend to anyone.

"As usual I didn't pay for this book but instead received it free in exchange for a review. Also as usual despite that kindness I give my candid thoughts below.

The description for this book calls it a Biography of 33 pages in length. In reality, it's more just a jumble of lists. It lists his movie roles, his girlfriends and that's about it. You may well ask then, how does that amount of content make up 33 pages? Well, easy, according to my Kindle, the last 46% of the book (no, that's not a typo) is comprised of advertisements for the author's other titles in the Biography series. So really it's only 17 pages. OK, well, 16 because the first page isn't really a page but just a repeat of the second.

It's also worth noting that if that weren't bad enough the writing is extremely questionable and only vaguely resembles English. Words are repeated, misspelled, misused and generally abused. Finally, the only photo in evidence is the one on the website advertising this book. The kindle book doesn't even have a picture on the cover.

In summary, you would be better served to simply read the Wikepedia entry and be done with it. You would learn more and you'd save yourself the current asking price. This book is truly a waste of time and money." ( )

i was so excited to receive this book as i am a huge Johnny Depp fan , also i have never been more disappointed in a book as i was in this one .

firstly the book contained so many grammatical errors i wanted to give up on page 2 but i kept reading.
secondly this was not so much a Biography as it was a list of his movies and TV shows( which i had already viewed on IMDB.com many times) and who his co-stars were.
it also had a brief amount of info on who he had dated or been married to and by brie4f i mean 1 sentence each , still i kept reading hoping there would be some information on his childhood or about his music . halfway through the book it ended and began listing other celebrity biographies on celebs such as Brad Pitt , Nicholas Cage , Steve Jobs , and Bill Gates.

This is an excellent biography. It's easily read in one sitting. It listed personal history, and all screen appearances of Johnny Depp. The best aspect was the listing and summary of his role in each picture. I was a young lady when he starred in Cry Baby and all junior high girls squealed at the sight of Johnny Depp. I love following his career and antics. This book is tastefully written. ( )
