This is a super cute manga about a young woman gamer who accidentally adopts a stray kitten. She's never owned a cat before, so in her head all of the regular cat care tasks get turned into video game achievements instead. Very cute art to go with the sweet story. Side note: this kind of story is why we need New Adult as a category. This isn't really either adult or YA (though if I had to pick between the two I'd lean on the side of YA even though the MC is in her late 20's.) Cute, but not quite cute enough to continue the whole series. I'm not even sure what else there is to write about. Riko is an office worker pushing thirty. She never works overtime, never discusses her private life, and never goes out for drinks with her co-workers. She is an enigma to everyone. One day a security guard finds a scared kitten in the parking lot and she finds herself volunteering to take the kitty home. Before the kitten all she would do is play video games, all night and every weekend. Now that she has a kitten she backed off the games (only a little) and has started focusing on "leveling up" her kitten. It's cute, but how much more story can there be? An adorable slice of life manga about a 29-year-old office worker, Riko, who surprises everyone, including herself, when she agrees to take home a stray kitten found in the parking lot. Riko spends all her free time playing video games and knows nothing about cats, so both she and her kitten learn and grow while playing a lot of games. The art is adorable and the plot is equally cute. Recommended. Riko Kozakura keeps her office coworkers at a distance, avoiding personal talk and after-work gatherings, in order to rush home and dive into her video game worlds. But one day she impulsively adopts a cat, and her perfect work-life balance starts to sway. Gentle and cute cat humor. I'm a dog person, but the nice art and steady chuckles will have me trying the next volume. keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

This is cute and I very much enjoy it.
Riko learning about the different stages of her new kitten’s life is adorable and it just reminds me so much of my two cats when they were kittens (I’ve got a 13 year-old and a 3 year-old).
Her setting up the online account to just post photos of Musubi is relatable, because 90% of my phone’s gallery is also just pet photos. ( )
