Even though there were a couple of things that surprised me most of it I was able to guess. I’m not sorry that I read it and not by any means saying don’t read it. It held my attention and was good just a little predictable and I felt there was no wow factor. YA novel about teens who work in a movie theater. It is their last night, and the manager is a volatile young man. When Jo, who is still living through the trauma that took her dad 9 years earlier, sees him with a gun, she is petrified. Then, things start to get worse. The lights all go out, they are locked inside, no escape - as the mall is under construction and exits have been boarded up against regulations. Jo tries to overcome her fears as she and her friends are in danger. It is a harrowing night. The book was a bit repetitive to me. I got that they were scared and were trapped, but it seemed that this was repeated in multiple chapters. Zeige 3 von 3 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

At the movie theater where Jo works, the last show has ended. But the nightmare is just beginning. Tonight, Riverview Theaters is closing forever, the last remaining business in a defunct shopping mall. The moviegoers have left, and Jo and her six coworkers have the final shift, a shift that quickly takes a dark turn. First a stranger arrives with a chilling accusation. Then the power goes out and their manager disappears, along with the keys to the lobby doors and the theater safe, where the crew's phones are locked each shift. Their tension turns to terror when Jo discovers the dead body of one of her co-workers. Now their only chance to escape the murderer in their midst is through the dark, shuttered mall. With its boarded-up exits and disabled fire alarms, the complex is filled with hiding places for both pursuer and pursued. In order to survive this night, Jo and her friends must trust one another, navigate the sprawling ruins of the mall, and outwit a killer before he kills again. Natalie D Richards certainly knows how to write a gripping YA suspense story and `'Four Found Dead`' was no exception. I enjoyed Jo's narration. She was a strong character who remained level-headed despite the chaos around her. The tension and suspense were palpable throughout the story and while I have no idea why Clayton wanted to kill the teenagers, it was still a fun, action-packed read. ( )
