I love it when reading a book feels like watching an amazing movie in your head. The Danger With Diamonds was that & more. Romance, humor, action, & suspense, this book has it all! There’s also gorgeous jewelry & high fashion gowns. I devoured this book! It’s the highly anticipated next book in the Heirs of Falcon Point series and boy does it deliver. From the get go, there’s non-stop action beginning with a stake out & stolen diamonds. From there, it keeps building to the exciting conclusion. Hoping for more than friendship, Lars invites Marit, while the two are in Vienna, to the bank vault while he photographs the precious Falcon Point jewelry. His cousin Cole, a secret CIA agent, also shows up with a loose bag of diamonds he needs to temporarily keep in the vault. Cole is hoping to rekindle his relationship with Isabelle who’s working undercover at the bank. This proves harder than he thinks. Isabelle was hurt when Cole left for months and didn’t contact her. It’s going to take some pretty grand gestures to win her over again. The four get caught up in a bank robbery where some of the Flacon Point jewels are stolen, but who’s behind the heist and is there someone on the inside who’s responsible? Lars, Marit, Isabelle & Cole must work together to find the suspects and recover the family jewels. The romance between these two couples is so good! Carriage rides, romantic gestures, a library I’d love to visit someday, waltzing, and swoony kisses were some of my favorite moments. The witty banter between Lars and Cole is fantastic. I loved Cole trying to teach Lars to dance and the good natured teasing. The action is suspenseful, non-stop, & keeps you on the edge of your seat! Isabelle has some mad driving & fighting skills! There’s also some great side characters in Jasmine & Cass, who Traci Abramson fans will recognize from her Guardian series! This is definitely one you’ll want on your TBR list! It can be read as a standalone, but is more enjoyable if you’ve read Heirs of Falcon Point. I received an advanced complimentary copy from the authors and publisher. All opinions are my own and I was not required to provide a positive review. Zeige 2 von 2 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

HTML: When Lars Hendriks arranges to meet Marit Jansen in Vienna, he is hoping their friendship will blossom into romance. What he doesn't expect is a surprise visit from his cousin Cole or the loose diamonds he brings with him. As a CIA operative, Cole Bridger is used to uncertainty, but when his work takes him back to Vienna, he looks forward to reconnecting with Isabelle Roberts, the fellow agent he dated briefly before duty took him away from Austria. Unfortunately, his silence over the last few months has created a chasm that he can't cross without help. He barely takes a step toward repairing the damaged relationship when a brazen jewel heist seemingly links Cole, Lars, Marit, and Isabelle to the crime. The group is drawn into a deadly mystery, and once again, the treasures of Falcon Point are threatened. It doesn't take long for them to realize they have stumbled upon something far bigger and more dangerous than a simple robbery. And someone on the inside knows it. .Keine Bibliotheksbeschreibungen gefunden. |

Plenty of action, adventure, suspense, and a generous dollop of romance kept me reading and guessing. With a backdrop of beautiful Vienna, this book has much to recommend it to those who enjoy romantic suspense.
