Listened to the audio. I have no idea of the background of the author, but decidedly he had not much complimentary to say about the Israeli's in the historical conflict.

Now that we are witnessing yet another act of hostilities between these bitter foes it is quite relevant to brush up on the background of the great conflict between these peoples.

I have no dog in the fight personally though it is probably politically correct to lean to the Israeli postion given the political climate here. I do understand however the position of the Paestinian people in the never ending land grab that started so long ago against them.

The storey is well narrated and gives a fairly extensive perspective on the collective decisions that were made over a great span by many political power of the region and I single out primarily the British with there initial oversight,

Well worth the time to brush up on the background as this continuing storey plays out despite the woven bias for the Palestinian position. ( )

This books seems like it was written with a bias towards Palestine while trying to be balanced.
Worth reading because it has many facts, however make sure you read other books too.
Personally, I hope for peace and a two state solution where everyone is treated as equal.
However, not sure how they will get there. ( )

Disgustingly anti-Israel, false in much of what's included (including on the law), misleading by what's not included. Cites anti-Israel sources, omits pro-Israel sources. Bias in word choice all over the place. However, the Great Britain edition conceivably could be less false and less antisemitic, since this book edition is somehow "revised" - specifically, "First published in North America in revised form by The Experiment, LLC, in 2023." Apart from quoting haters like David Duke, Farrakhan, Sizer, etc. it really can't get much worse -- just enough smattering about of truths to cover up the stink with an appearance of legitimacy. ( )
