A really neat and lovely ending to a good series! The protagonists are just so fun! I do have a sort of issue with the thread of "polyamorous character finds happiness by being monogamous" and the way they both kind of manipulate each other with their affection is a bit mmm (like ah, yes, having a polyamorous character who's "mean" to his partner by threatening to be with someone else... not a great look). Overall the writing was good though, I love the art style (and Cavo is so beautiful. And him being happy is so sweet to watch. Liam's backstory is really great, and I like how it was resolved, even if the knights following them just sort of disappear. But they just felt kind of added in, so that's not terrible.

If you're looking for m/m kind of Beauty and the Beast if the beauty was a middle-aged bisexual lech and the beast was a giant nervous softie, plus some dubcon (and size difference and xeno, obviously) this is good for you! (
