First Impressions
Sing for Me is the second book in this duology that we have here and I have to say that this one was way harder and more challenging to read than "Breathe For Me" ever was. There is so much emotional turmoil and drama that happens int his one that it gets really difficult to read at times. I really stuck with it because I was so hooked into the story and didn't care what this author would put me through but boy it was intense, but I had to see it through for the reunion between the brothers and I just knew once our couple worked through their issues, that their romance would sing and it definitely was worth it but know that this is a emotionally challenging in how the author writes it and will probably put you through a mental war before you get to the HEA.

First Line
"Where's your fiancee tonight, Langston?"

The Main Protagonists
The Hero: Mason
Is a professional bull rider, full of demons and hate, has a temper at times but is protective of women.

The Heroine: Harmony
Harmony is on the run from an abusive ex, she is still tormented by her past and being betrayed by her family who should have protected her. She still suffers elements of PTSD from past abuse.

Summary
Mason was abused throughout his childhood by his father and felt abandoned by his brother and was determined to find his own path in life and what called to him and gave him peace was those 8 seconds that he found upon riding the bull. He is now one of the best professionals of bull riding and then he finds the one woman he never thought he would find. Harmony never had a loving family. Her father sold her to her husband and she was abused for years until she found the courage to run and find her own life. She has two best friends she considers family. She still battles the affects of the abuse that she suffered and is slowly working through it. When Mason, infamous bull rider, saves her from an abusive security guard, an instant connection forms between them. But the past is bound to come to the surface and connect Mason and Harmony in ways that neither of them expected...

What I Loved
Sing For Me was such a powerful read! There is so much to unpack here but to be frank this one put me through such a roller coaster but what makes it all worth it are these characters and wanting them to find their HEA that both of them deserve. Each of them have suffered in their own way and they have to work through their abuse while also not letting themself lose each other to the torments of the past. The connection that is between Mason and Harmony was so captivating. I just wanted to cheer these on through their successes and in the small intimate moments that they share in building each other up. They have so many demons, but together, they are able to find the capability and drive to continue to fight their demons and carve their own path together.

The plot of the story was the most fascinating to me and in seeing how the villain of this duet that wants to destroy the ranch is actually connected closely with Harmony. It really builds slowly thoughout the story and really captures you attention so quickly. And you see the moments where Mason has to return home and the almost painful reunion where the truth between the brothers comes fully revealed and what reveals these two learn about each other. I really loved Harmony's influence on Mason though especially in the later half of the story. This is where we see how true their connection is to each other and how she is able to help Mason keep centered in certain ways while in other ways each of them need to fight their own battles. I loved the balance of character growth and relationship building that we see implemented throughout this whole story.

What I Struggled With
I really struggled with some of the more emotional and mental struggles that our main characters have. It gets too stretched out at times. And this might be too much for some readers. I was completely invested in this book though and wanted to see it through to the end, but if I hadn't been in the right mood for emotional turmoil, I might have DNF'd this one. So my best advice, make sure you know what you are getting into with this one and be willing to take it on. It won't be for everyone especially. But I did feel like the emotional battles these two work through are the most realistic. Its not easy to read, but its probably the most relatable especially if you have suffered any type of mental illness like anxiety or depression or abuse. Recovery and healing take time and it doesn't happen overnight.

Overall View
Sing For Me is a captivating and heart wrenching romance that will bring your deepest emotions to the surface, its a romance you won't want to let go of and will delivers all the feels to see it through to the end...

Favorite Quote(s)
He was the first ray of sunlight that peaked through the clouds after a storm. He was a beautiful chord in a song that sent goosebumps across my skin. He was every note in the music I’d been writing for the last two months.

Newsflash: this cowboy wasn’t going away. Even if he was fighting for his life, he wasn’t going away.

“Loved you the second I saw you and every second after that, Little Song.”
