I do wish in that example, though, that the author had clarified the size of each swimming pool. Two other minor quibbles... The book states that tooth enamel is as hard as steel. If so, why is it so easy to chip a tooth? And the author does a great job of accurately naming parts and processes without getting too scientific for young readers, but I would have preferred feces or waste or excrement to "poo."
Still, the numbers and examples will certainly help readers understand our bodies better. I'll be adding it to our school library shelf.
