Her introductions to sections and chapters are well worth the price of admission though and well worth a read, though if you're looking for this as a historical document you might want to check out older editions. This edition is pared back from 500 pages with 300 recipies to 160 pages.
First published in 1960 by the Flour Miller's Association, this has also been produced as a two-part book with Bread and cakes as one subtitle and Fish & Meat as the other subtitle. This edition serves as a flavour of the whole. ( )
