Lädt ... Moving Targetvon Cheyenne McCray
![]() Keine Keine aktuelle Diskussion zu diesem Buch. Though I love romance novels in general, I've never really been one for contemporary or romantic suspense novels...Until I picked up Chosen Prey, the book that preceeded Moving Target. Now, I still don't usually pick up novels with those themes, but Cheyenne McCray is one that I definitely will in the future! Her books have everything: The perfect amount of sex, love, humor, and action go into every one of her books, including Moving Target. I thought the story was very intense and interesting. The main character, Ani, is being stalked by the Russian mob after they tried, and failed, to kill all of her family two years ago. Ani escaped with her life, barely, but she had to go into the Witness Protection Program immediately after and she's been in it every since, waiting until she could testify against her family's murder. But even in the program, she's soon finding out that she's not one hundred percent safe...from the mob, or from falling on love with the sexy decetive, Daniel, who has been the head guy over her case for the past couple of years. Just when you think that they've managed to escape safely, the story takes another twist and suddenly you find yourself in the middle of another chase, waiting to see what will happen, hoping that neither Daniel nor Ani will be harmed. McCray tells a gripping story that is countered by it's very steamy love scenes. 4.5/5 STARS! Though I'm use to reading historicals and paranormals, McCray's Moving Target changed my opinion a bit, showing me that, with the right story line and writing, romantic suspense/contemporary romances can be just as good! A definite must read for anyone, McCray fans or new comers, and make sure to check out her other book, Chosen Prey, which was the first book of hers that I read and after reading it, she became a auto-buy for me. :D Zeige 3 von 3 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

Ani has been in hiding for two years now under the Witness Protection Program. Her testimony will put away the man who murdered the rest of her family and strike a blow against the Russian mafia in New York City. With only days to go, Ani makes a phone call to an old friend to try and help a child. This phone call is the beginning of a cross-country run from an enemy with unlimited funds and unlimited hate. The only person Ani can trust is the agent who's been her lifeline from the first...Daniel.
Daniel knows he can't let his feelings for Ani loose. They will only detract from the real need to stay alert at all times. But this is Ani...the woman whose voice and thoughts have kept him in a state of near arousal every time they talk. And now that he's with her in person, how long can he maintain his distance?
Once I started, I couldn't put it down. Ani's inner strength and Daniel's protectiveness coupled with their intense attraction made them irresistible. The bad guys are really bad, the action doesn't let up, and the sex will leave you sweating. "Moving Target" is another winner from Cheyenne McCray. (
