A short novel (less than 150 pages) about work, television and the meaninglessness of life. The text is broken into many short sections, labelled "reality", "narration", "end of reality" etc., corresponding to different levels of the story (television shows, dreams, peoples lives), and uses only lowercase and often breaks words between lines without using hyphens. I found the structure of the text confusing and often wasn't quite sure which of the levels a certain section belonged to. Many parts of the text are quite violent (limbs are removed, heads pop, knifes are stuck into people), but the damage seems always transient (or more likely, metaphorical or only imagined). I believe that the topics of the story are television, the workplace, and the relation between workers and "the boss", but I am not sure that I have not dramatically misunderstood the text. Despite being confused throughout the book, the text flows quite quickly and I had no difficulty finishing the book.
