His accomplishments in the paranormal fields are many. His LEMUR team was the first to take a scientific study of the Brown Mountain Lights. Along with being on Coast to Coast several times, he has his own radio show, "Speaking of Strange...", which also was the name of one of his books. I thoroughly enjoyed "Haunted Asheville" because I am intimately acquainted with the area and am a native son to Asheville. In the book you may come to kow of The Grove Park Inn's Pink Lady, The Ghost of WLOS, Erwin High Cemetery, Battery Park Hotel, The Reed House (I grew up not but a few hundred feet away from this bed and breakfast), Helen's Bridge, Buncombe County Jail, and a few other haunts. The book is filled with pictures for your enjoyment as well. A must read for all residents, tourists, and paranormal enthusiasts. Zeige 2 von 2 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

Along with the Grove Park Inn, Warren relates other tales of woe and mysterious happenings in and around Asheville, including the well known Helen's Bridge of Zealandia, which is still a popular spot for teens and college kids to test their mettle or spook their dates into their arms.
Definitely an interesting read, and a welcome edition to my growing paranormal research library; but I have to ask one question: does Joshua P. Warren ever smile? Because he certainly doesn't in any of the pictures he includes of himself here. ( )
