In the book, "The Titanic: An Interactive History Adventure" is about the history of the adventure that happened to the ship Titanic. It goes through the making of the titanic till it sinks. It has fun interactives that make learning about the making of the ship, how it is powered and why it sunk. I like this book because it teaches history of the titanic in a fun way, that gives kids hands on book.
You could do many activities about that time in history. Students could make a model of the titanic. Or students could also make a timeline of the events leading up to the sinking of the ship.

This book chronicles the events surrounding the sinking of the Titanic. The central message of the book is to inform readers about the sinking of the titanic and the lives of the people who were aboard the ship while the ship sank. The book is written in the 2nd person perspective and places the reader as a passenger of the titanic. The book is divided into three adventures providing the student with a different perspective of the sinking of the titanic from the point of view of either a first class passenger, a third class passenger, or a crew member of the Titanic. I enjoyed reading this book because of the choice it gives the reader by providing three separate narratives that provide different information about the Titanic and the inclusion of photographs of artifacts recovered from the titanic along with photos taken during the Titanic's voyage and subsequent sinking. The use of the different points of view and giving the reader choices as they read the book truly engages the reader in the story. It provides the reader with the feeling that their choices are affecting the plot of the story. this involvement gets the reader interested in the story and encourages them to want to learn more about the ship and the events that lead to the sinking of the ship. The book is based on the idea of chose your own adventure and on the first page the book provides the choice of whether the reader wants to be a first class passenger, third class passenger, or a crew member. From this point, the reader makes several more choices to decide the actions in the book and leads to a predestined outcome of either surviving or dying on the Titanic. I also really like the inclusion of photographs of artifacts from the Titanic allowing the reader to make a more concrete connection to the information being provided in the text. An example of one of these images is a picture of a life vest used on the ship. If the reader takes a path which includes a life vest than the reader can better visualize themselves wearing the vest as their story continues. Also, the inclusion of photos of the crew and passengers helps the reader understand that these were real people who died on the Titanic. The image of the captain and the crew allows for the reader to more a personal connection to the crew who died. Overall, the book does a fantastic job of presenting the story of the Titanic in a way that is engaging to readers while still being informative. ( )

This book is about a big ship crossing the Atlantic Ocean to New York City in 1912. The Titanic sank in April 1912 after hitting a 100 foott tall iceberg. 1500 people died and only 705 people survived the sinking of the Titanic because they did not have enough life boats. I liked this book because it was so interesting to find out how such a huge boat sank. I would recommend this book to people who are interested in boats and disasters, ( )

The Titanic: An Interactive History Adventure is a book that gives the reader choices in each chapter that impacts what happens to them while on the Titanic. Each scenario is based on real events that took place aboard the Titanic and the reader can choose to keep returning to the beginning to read about the rest of the experiences based on their choices. The book is filled with pictures from the actual event along with facts about them. The back of the book includes a glossary, index, and resources to learn more about the Titanic. This early chapter book is an informational book.

A good representation of the true story of the Titanic, from its construction to its sailing, but allows readers to choose different fates based on decisions they make as a passenger. ( )
