Meeting with her spiritual friend every two weeks. She has worked with a spiritual guide. Prayer, daily and in meeting for worship. Personal retreats; these are very important. She has a Quiet Day once a week: a day with the spirit, and no telephone calls, no chores, no appointments. That is when she gets creative ideas, leadings, and clarity of focus.
One apparent lesson is that spiritual growth comes, not surprisingly, when one gives it time, space, attention, and support. ( )
