"Isn't he e-nor-mous!" says the giant father when his first twin son is born. "There's a-lot-uv-'im!" notes the giant mother when the second twin boy arrives. And as Normus (a vegetarian) and Lottavim (a carnivore) grow and grow, the two are hugely happy - playing Roll the Boulder, singing badly, and doing everything together: waking up, going to sleep, even sneezing. So when they reach the age of twenty and the height of twelve feet, it's not surprising that they each think the same thought at exactly the same time: "It's about time I found a wife!" But is it possible to find not one but two of the giantesses of your dreams?… (mehr)

Aww... awfully cute. Pretty straightforward, but charming. The illustrations are similarly joyful but not amazing. Btw, King-Smith's stories are always short, but this one is so short that the library at Elko shelved it in Easy, not Juvenile. ( )

The Twin Giants is a fairytale that is sure to bring laughter to young readers. The humor brought by two giants will let children see the love and companionship these brothers have for one another. Read along as both Lottavim and Normus search for wives in a land of seven mountains. ( )

Story follows two twin giant bothers and how they cam to be boys with picking eating habits to men with families of their own. Very sweet and silly story telling. ( )

The Twin giants is a book for second and third graders. This is a beginning chapter book that speaks about the lives of two twin giants and their search to get married. It is a little odd on how the giants come to ask for a wife and get married. The giants are called out for being too forward in their proposals. Eventually on the 7th hill they visit they find twin giants who they are meant to marry. ( )
