The byways included in this volume by Mary Meigs Atwater, are card weaving, inkle loom weaving, braiding, twining, and belt weaving. The highlight of this book are the many wonderful ethnic designs for pick up in a variety of techniques. It think I might use Atwater's book as an adjunct with other texts on the various subjects, but it certainly has a lot of information about ethnic technique and design.
