Probably the best introduction I have read to the issues of intellectual property rights and and their expression as software. It is a very good and clear introduction to anyone who wants an easy, yet detailed, introduction to the more general topics of copyright, patents, trade secrets and trade marks, licensing, public domain, proprietary information and employment. It is not only a good book for those interested in Open Source and "Free" software, but proprietary software as well. It even has a section on incorporating a non-profit organization. Mr. Lindberg does a good job of explaining details clearly, giving liberal coverage of the historical basis of today's law, and keeping the reading light and fast with lots of entertaining examples and anecdotes. I recommend this as a can't-miss introduction for engineers and any lay-person interested in IP law. ( ) keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
