It is an interesting book. It depicts a story that the chameleon change the color of his body to protect himself from predators. Once he finds a way to change other animals into other colors as well. He uses flower juice to make all the other animals into beautiful colors. Other animals were very happy at first, but soon they find they cannot continue their ordinary lives because of the distinguished colors. They complain to the chameleon and chase him. Finally, all back to normal because of a storm. colors are all washed away from them. This book has extraordinary illustrations. The animals in it can talk and do things like the human, which makes it be a fantasy story. it can be used in science class and reading class. ( )

Chameleon is upset because he felt like no one could see him, he blends into everything and people just walk right by him. So, he decided that he was going to paint all of the other animals different colors so they could change colors like him. But, the animals come back upset the next day because they don't know which animals and which and they can't hunt because they keep getting spotted. ( )

The story begins with a Chameleon. He notices that he changes colors wherever he goes in order to blend in with his surroundings. Chameleon almost gets stepped on by other animals in the jungle, but the animals are jealous because he gets to change colors. Chameleon ends up coming up with a plan to paint each animal however they want. All the animals become confused because they all look different, causing them to not be able to eat their prey because they don’t know what they are going after. They all chase after Chameleon and a thunderstorm occurs, causing all the paint to wash off the animals. The jungle was back to normal and Chameleon was happy to be himself and accepted his color changing skills. ( )
