Anatole goes to see a world famous concert pianist's private concert for orphans - however the concert is in peril because some pearls have been accidentally dropped into the piano, altering the sound. Anatole drags the pearls out of the piano, one by one, and saves the concert for orphans. In recompense, he is gifted the perfect mouse-size piano.
The story is cute, but again I had several problems with it. Not only is Anatole the bravest, the best, the most ingenious mouse - he's also a fabulous piano player? Too perfect! Also, what museum director in his right mind would give away a museum piece on a whim? The museum lover in me was appalled! Again the plot is contrived and filled with macguffins, but still relatively enjoyable. ( )
