I think it was well written, researched, and detailed. It was just way more than I have an interest. I was interested in the family dynamics, marriage between Maurizio and Patrizia, their children, and relationships after their separation. I like learning about people and not so much about the business. I have a feeling I will like the movie better. While there is a legend the family built saddles hundreds of trays ago the author discounts that and tells the story of the modern fashion company. The main focus is on the family and the leaders of the company - how they lead their lives and spent the wealth they developed.
