A teacher Mrs.Jones took her class to the zoo. She showed them the animals and when she was feeding a peanut to te Hippopataus she fell in and it ate her. Then they heard her voice come from inside the hippo. She lined them up and went back to school. the hippo taught the class until they started missing Mrs. Jones. They turned the Hippo upside down and our shot Mrs. Jones. ( )

This story would be great for kids. It is funny and energetic. I would ask the students how they would get Ms. Jones out of the hippopotamus. I would also ask the students what they thought the questions were at the end of the story. I absolutely loved this book! ( )

Summary: This story is about a school class who takes a trip to the zoo. While they are there their teacher shows them all the animals. When she comes the the hippopotamus she leans to close and falls into the hippos mouth. So the hippo must teach the class.

Personal Respons: I thought it was an okay story. It really wasnt my favorite but it is funny.

Classroom Extension Ideas: The students could draw their favorite animal at the zoo. Also they could write about the best trip to the zoo and why. ( )
