School age kids might enjoy this silly book about sales and the art of persuasion. In some ways a bit dated, with all of the internet ads we are all hit with now, but a good way to point out how easy it is to buy something we don't want. ( )

Have I Got a Book for You, is a very clever book who's main character Mr. Al Foxword is a persistent salesman who will do just about anything to sell this book. Mr. Foxword's clever sales techniques make this book funny and very unique. The illustrations help create a sales pitch worthy of any paying customer. This is an adorable book that allows young readers to become crtical consumers of advertising. I would have students create their own advertisements using this book as a guide. Have I Got a Book for You, could be used acrossed the curriculum to teach a variety of different skills. ( )
