Disregarding all the cute doggy photos, this is a very generic book about holiday traditions, with a main focus is on Christmas. Even though the opening page mentions Kwanzaa and Hanukkah there are no pages with dogs telling about traditions tied to those holidays, instead the book skips ahead to New Year's and even Chinese New Year, which can happen anywhere from late January to late February.

The best pages had a dog from associated with a particular country talking about specific traditions from that country, but there were only about ten of those in the midst of random stuff like activities, recipes, and puzzles. ( )
