Simple story about a dog looking for someone to play with. I found it a bit too repetitive to be fun reading, but my 3 yo enjoyed knowing what the next phrase would be. "Mama, I read!" ( )

The author uses repetition and rhyming throughout the whole book. She also uses a little sense of humor which I think will bring in the reader. The illustrations are well done and portray what is going on in the story. ( )
