This set of 10 brief volumes presents an overview of world history from prehistory (6.8 million years ago) up until 2005. Each volume includes a volume-specific introduction. The content consists of alternating types of two-page spreads: time-line pages and feature pages. Each time-line spread covers a period ranging from several centuries to six or seven years and is arranged in rows corresponding to five or six geographic regions. The rows are color coded for ease of use and make for an appealing layout. Within each of the rows, events are listed in chronological order across the page.
