Sweet romance, with a sweet heroine and a swoon worthy gentlemanly hero. A great declaration of love at the end. ( ) Lydia's been working two jobs for years: the first, a clerk in a grocery store; the second, professional lookalike of a famous English heiress. When Lydia runs into that heiress at an event, she hands over her card, telling Lady Rose that anytime she wants she wants a day off, Lydia's willing to step in. When Lady Rose calls offering Lydia a week's stay in a beautiful desert oasis (with just a few photo ops), Lydia's happy oblige. While the usual annoyance with short romance fiction - why don't they just tell each other the truth at the beginning - is necessary (Lydia cannot tell anyone who she really is, especially not the gorgeous Sheik tasked with keeping her company), it's still a bit irritating. I found this one a bit boring - because of the short length, I can usually whip through these types of novels in a few hours, but this one didn't grab me. Not enough tension/chemistry, and those chest-clenching romantic moments were quite cheesy... Zeige 4 von 4 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
Lydia Young has landed her dream assignment! Used to stacking shelves, she's now jetting off to a desert kingdom for a holiday as a media darling's look-alike. All Lydia has to do is enjoy a week of pampered bliss in a luxury oasis--and not blow her cover by falling for her host, dangerously out-of-her-league Sheikh Kalil al-Zaki. Hmm, this might just be trickier than she first thought! Lydia wanted the spotlight... ...Annie wanted anonymity. Keine Bibliotheksbeschreibungen gefunden. |
