This is a collection of essay of people indicidual experience of the Man booker prize.
Most of the articles were interesting evern to someone who did not quite understand who most of these "famous" people were. In amongst it this filled in the history and ideals behind the prize as well as specualtion as to the effects that it has had on the publishing industry overall.
As most of the essays were quite short (a couple of pages) this made of ideal traveling material. I can only hope that people thought I was intelectual reading this, but whatever it was an pleasure to read

This sleek little black book was a delightful volume with contributions from many of those involved in the history of the Man Booker Prize. A most informative gem of a book found by accident in the literature section of my local library. ( )
