Push Button is a cute story about a little boy who loves to push different buttons. However, he bruises his finger because he pushes too many buttons, but discovers that he can do many more activities than just pushing buttons, such as reading a book, painting, and gardening. This book has a lot of colorful illustrations, and the large pictures are great for read-a-loud time. This book would be appropriate for children ages 2-5 years old.

A very busy boy likes to push all kinds of buttons, and power switches. He does so many his finger gets sore, so he discovers books and other activities to do.The illustrations are large and are in a coloring book style which looks like someone colored in with markers. The text is in big black letters which makes it easy to read and would be easy to point along with early readers. The illustrations have a casual look to them. This book gives options for other activities; good for read aloud and story discussion.

Push button boy does all kinds of exploring with pushing different buttons in this book. After he has pushed so many things, his finger starts to hurt. Then he reads a book and learns about a bunch of other activities he can do besides push. This book has a ton of sound words, and it rhymes. It would be perfect for grades K-1.

This story is great for younger students and ca be used for a mini lesson on safety due to the fact that the little boy in the story continuously pushes buttons and messes with things just like little kids do. It can also be used for allowing beginner readers to read the pictures to help them figure out the words on the page. This book would also be a good one to reread daily to help students with sight words. The reading level is a 1.0.

colored pencils watercolors ink and markers were used to make these illustartions which are fun because they aren't taking themselves too seriously, are playful, and simple. This book is a simple lesson for a baby about over-doing it.
