I really enjoyed this book. I think it does a really good job of incorporating environmental issues and science into a book that is directed to elementary school students. It shows students that they too can "go green" and help the environment too. As Rosy and her group figure out what to display at the fall fair, it makes children want to do these things too. I think it also has a really special message of friendship and working together. At first no one wanted to be a part of Rosy's group for the fair but they all worked together in the end and had a successful outcome. ( )

It shows children how they can help the environment by recycling and composting. It gives them plenty of ideas so they can also do it themselves.

Over the pass years a lot of people in the U.S have been going green to save the world. This would be a great book and project to do with children. I am positive that they would enjoy helping the world they live in. Rosy Cole is a brave young girl who wants to make a difference. ( )
