Jessica Augustsson

Intrepid Horizons is a delightful blend of short and flash fiction tales, pieced together by Jessica Augustsson. Highlites for me include Living Proof by Lynn Townsend, a haunting look on the other side of the grave and their perspective of the living. Cup of Charity by Crystal Carroll practically breathes everything that is mystery and the exotic. Jukebox Cafe by Grace Sabella is a fun albeit bittersweet view of the afterlife. Believing is Seeing by Kimber Camacho spoke the most to me as an artist and what we choose to "see" in the natural world. I frequently see evidence of faeries everyday in the world around me too. My favorite is Death's Door by Narrelle M Harris because Death is truly charming and the heavy questions posed are not without a light blend of macabre humor. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed reading these stories and felt transported through each authors imagination.
