The first thing you read is Kip talking to himself about himself, he admits he's cocky, good looking and how he needs to find a "good woman". He's dating 3 sisters (who knows nothing about him dating each other). But the day he meets Shelby , something changes with him, there is something about her. Shelby has had a terrible life after her mother died and is sent to live with her aunt Bea and her husband (he's an ass). This is wonderful sweet story about two people coming together in a way they don't expect. Plus we learn secrets that almost everybody seems to have. This is the second book that I have read by Jacquelyn Ayres and have fallen in love with Ci Ci and Kyle. She has as mind and mouth that gets her in trouble sometimes (that's what happens when you don't have anything to filter what comes out of her mouth) Kyle's life is work , work , work and his family but that is a lonely life. Ci Ci pretty much charges into his life and you won't be the changes that are going to happen to them. (no spoilers from me) But there is nothing dull about their relationship. Now I'm hot and bothered , I better go read the third book in this series, but I need a cold drink , a fan, and I know that I'll need a cold shower… (mehr)

At first I wan't sure what Charlotte was doing except that I assumed she was going for a job interview. I never expected the job or contact would be (no spoilers), so I was a little shocked at how easy to sign the contract. I would have preferred to a little more about her and why she was so desperate to willing to take the job. But I did after reading a little farther. Mitchell was up front about what he wanted from her. It was fun to see him already start to change his mind after that first night. The story catches your attention, the characters fun and real. A wonderful story that keeps you reading… (mehr)

This I found to be a romantic comedy and it was a breath of fresh air, there are many funny moments in this book and also some very hot scenes.

There is also the right amount of romance and angst in this read.

Some of the characters are known from the first book in the series and it is written in the dual POV way, and it was easy to follow the plot.

The characters were easily likable, and the plot flowed perfectly. The writing was excellent, and I would recommend this to any reader that would love a funny romantic read.
