I liked how passionate each of the MCs are about trees, from each perspective. Their banter is top-notch. The way they support each other is so cute and the steam is hot.
*SPOILERS BEGIN*
Damon handles Megan’s anxieties really well and takes such care in being there for her in any way. While it’s not always possible it was so touching how Damon recognized how hard his job would be on her and was willing to take the steps needed for her to be in his life.
Spouses of people who work in dangerous fields often deal with a lot of anxiety and it can lead to many relationships falling apart. Now leaving those fields is not something most people can do but the fact that it was an option for Damon and he took it so Megan wouldn’t have that anxiety.
