Strange and sad horror/drug addiction film, made more eerie by the death of its leading actress not long after its release. I had the feeling it was almost made up as it went along--and indeed the actors were non-professionals, basically playing themselves as a group of post-high school kids with no prospects. But the cinematography and music make this rise to another level. As I said, eerie is the word, and pretty effective before it's all over.
