Kenna Bardot

This is one of those books that you don't even know that you want it as much as you need it. The authors gave plenty of trigger warnings before the book started, so I don't want to see any pearl clutchers having a fit about darkness in this story.

It was dark but, in my opinion, it could have been darker. Very interesting premise to this story. I was intrigued to know more about this Society. What were their motivations, what did they hope to gain, and how this even came about? Those were the questions that were on the top of my list. I need to know more of the story about that society than I even feel compelled to understand the characters as much.

It ended on a cliffhanger and I cannot wait to discover who the players really were in this story. There is more than meets the eye with the characters, and the stories. I look forward to finding out more.
