This biography about Anne Frank is written in simple terms children can understand. It is not very wordy or long, but it gives the facts. I actually learned more than I thought I would about Anne Frank. Even after reading some parts of her own diary, I still learned new information from this mini book.
The pictures are slightly problematic in my opinion. Every Jewish man is drawn with a big nose. I know that not every Jewish person has a big nose. I am not sure why it was illustrated this way, but it was not the best artistic choice in my humble opinion. Overall, it was an informational text that did its job.… (mehr)
