New York 1936, Lucas Torelli alias Torpedo, sicilien de son état, loue sa gâchette à qui veut éliminer un rival, une femme gênante ou un voisin trop curieux. La pitié est un mot inconnu pour lui, seul l'argent peut adoucir ses mœurs, quand il coule en abondance. L'époque est propice à son petit commerce et ce ne sont pas les quelques séjours en taule qui pourront altérer son désir de flinguer à tout va. A défaut de ne pouvoir être son ami, car il n'en a plus, priez pour ne pas être son ennemi !… (mehr)
